Our love for the art of pysanka began as very young children. We would sit for hours writing eggs. We never realized the talent we were developing. to this day we love to share our work and continue to keep this ancient art alive through demonstrations, classes. and shows,

Pysanky Colors & Meanings
In ancient times only two colors were
used when writing pysanky.
Gradually more colors were introduced
as dyes were prepared from roots, berries,
leaves and other natural materials. Each
color and symbol have a meaning:
- White: Purity, honesty
- Yellow: Innocence, wisdom
- Green: Rebirth, hope, vitality
- Blue: Good health, fidelity
- Orange: Endurance, ambition
- Red: Love
- Brown: Earth, happiness
